Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice
Make your own pumpkin pie spice in less than 5 minutes. It's the perfect blend for all the fall baking and cooking including pumpkin pies, pumpkin pie lattes, cookies, overnight oats, chia pudding, bliss balls and so much more!
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- ½ tsp ground allspice
- ¼ tsp ground cardamon - optional
To a small bowl or plate, add cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, clove, allspice, and cardamom (optional). Stir to combine.
Smell and taste test the spice mix and adjut according to personal preferences. Add more cinnamon for a sweeter note, ginger and cardamon for spice, nutmeg for a more earthy and nutty note, clove and allspice for pungency.
Store the pumpkin pie spice mix in a sealed container for up to 6 months.
